Description
The VOLUMIX system is designed for high-precision dosing of products (anaerobic mode) used in cold treatment devices.
The feed water (RO or DM), duly reduced in pressure, is measured using a volumetric flow meter. Dosing of the concentrated product is performed using a dosing pump, also volumetric. The dosing pump keeps the product under pressure up to the injector, which opens on a pulse, controlled by an algorithm in relation to the volume of water measured and the percentage of product to be added.
The system is provided with alarms in case of the following problems:
- Low or no compressed air pressure
- Presence of air in the water pump
- Presence of air in the product pump
- High temperature in the electrical cabinet
The temperature is measured using an internal sensor in the electrical cabinet. In case the factory-set limit is exceeded, an alarm signal will appear.
