Description
In the underground environment, where fires can have serious consequences for personnel and equipment, legislation in many countries requires fire-resistant hydraulic fluids of the HFDU type.
CONDAT offers a range of CONDAT D fire-resistant hydraulic fluids approved by tunnel boring machine manufacturers. These products have certifications proving their resistance to ignition:
- FM: Factory mutual
- MSHA: mining accreditation
The CONDAT D range is also biodegradable and non-toxic.
These HFDU fluids have the advantage of a high viscosity index and high durability, which means that the equipment is protected and oil changes can be spaced out, while guaranteeing safety on the boring site.
